Simple Hot Fudge Sauce

This is a simple, “Go to”, hot fudge sauce recipe. If you’ve never made hot fudge yourself, once you do, you’ll never buy it again. This is also a fail proof recipe for first timers – master this then move on to all sorts of fudgy sauces!

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar

2/3 cup Dutch Processed Cocoa

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1/3 cup light corn syrup

1/3 cup butter

1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Combine first four ingredients in heavy saucepan (DO NOT add butter or vanilla until the end!!!). Over low heat, heat until boiling, stirring (or whisking) constantly. Boil for one minute. Add butter and vanilla.
