Bell’s Special Double Cream Stout Mocha Flourless Torte

A delicious, mocha flourless torte that will please everyone!

Ingredients

12 Tbs unsalted butter

12 oz bittersweet chocolate (do not use morsels), chopped

2 Tbs unsweetened cocoa

1 tsp instant espresso

6 eggs

½ cup sugar

3 Tbs Bell’s Special Double Cream Stout

Cocoa for dusting

Directions

Place chocolate and butter in microwavable bowl. Microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until chocolate is melted.  In large bowl, beat remaining ingredients until thickened, about 5 minutes. GENTLY fold half of chocolate/butter mixture until combined. GENTLY fold in remaining chocolate mixture. Spray 9 inch springform pan with baking spray (or butter pan).  Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes. Torte should jiggle slightly, and inserted toothpick should have a few crumbs. It should be more fudge like, not cakey. Enjoy!
